The biennial Saferoads conference is Victoria's most significant road safety conference.

The conference provided an important opportunity for all road safety stakeholders to share information about the latest road safety trends and upcoming initiatives.

More than 350 delegates attended the Saferoads 2006 Conference including representatives from 35 local governments.

The move towards a Safe System represents a significant shift in thinking about road safety. It affects how government, the community and all road safety stakeholders tackle road safety.
